This article will teach you how to run a material report. If you need assistance scheduling, emailing, or printing the report, please refer to the “Introduction to Reports” KnowledgeBase article.
To get started with a material report, click on the green plus sign in the Reports section.
On the popup window, select Materials, then click submit.
You can change the name of the report to what you wish in the name field. Then click the search button to open the material search window.
In the material search window, you can search for material using the ID number (material field) or by the material name (description field). Make sure to check the boxes “Calculate Delivered from Loads” and “Split out by Loads”. This will only show delivered amounts and exclude open tickets without loads. You can also select a load delivery date range, dispense type, attributes, customer ID, customer name, or originator. When your parameters are set, click the search button to see the results. Once the results are satisfactory, click the save button.
The next step is to setup the report template. Click the green plus sign on the printing tab. In the new window that appears, click the import template button. Select one of the three templates built-in to ControlPro. When finished, click save.
Go to the details tab. To view the report, check the PDF box and the View box. Then click distribute. It will use your search parameters to generate a PDF report and will open the file in your default PDF viewer. You can click the cancel button to stop a report from being generated.
