ControlPro v3.4
Multi-ticket batching is the process of combing two or more tickets and running them as one load, or batch. This is only possible if the tickets have the same customer and same materials in the same ratios. Also, the total delivered amount of all tickets must not exceed the mixer or equipment capacity.
The first setting to check is the multi-ticket batch precision. On the left side column of the home screen, click the settings button.
Under the local section, go to the Tickets & Loads tab. You’ll see the drop-down menu for multi-ticket batch precision. The default is thousandths. This means that the material ratios must be accurate to three decimal places. If not, then the tickets cannot be batched together. You can change that setting to another, depending on the precision you prefer. Setting it as whole will cause it to match up to the ones decimal place. Tens or hundreds were added to assist customers who don’t need the precision and just want to multi-batch tickets together without fail. Be careful with this setting because mixing two tickets with different amounts of chemicals can cause adverse effects to a field. When done setting the precision, click update.
The next step is to add the tickets to the system. Once added, you will select each ticket by holding down the CTRL button and clicking each ticket to highlight it. After doing so, you will notice that the process button now displays the number 3, meaning you have three tickets ready to run as one batch. That number will always match the number of tickets selected. If the tickets cannot be batched together, the process button will gray out, not allowing you to run the multi-ticket batch until something is corrected (customer, materials, material amounts, multi-ticket batch precision, etc.).
After completion, the ticket and load audit will show a “Batch Ticket Summary” section. This shows you which tickets were batched together to create the current load.
A setting that helps assist with multi-ticket batching is “show extra fields”. This setting shows the mass and volume percentages of each material on a ticket. This can help diagnose issues like incorrect ratio of materials.
These mass and volume percentages on the ticket must be the same if you want to batch the tickets together. The multi-ticket batch precision setting tells ControlPro which decimal place to calculate to. For example, if the precision is set to 1, that means the mass/volume percentages are matched up to the tenth decimal place. If set to 2, the hundredth decimal place. If set to 3, the thousandth decimal place. For zero, it will go to whole numbers.
