ControlPro v3.4
Materials must be assigned to a system before tickets containing those materials can be processed. To get started, open your systems list from the main screen.
In the system list, double click the system that needs the material added.
Once open, navigate to the materials tab. Then click on the green plus sign next to the automated materials tab.
Once the plus sign is clicked, the material search screen appears. Double click on the material you wish to add to the system. In this example, I’m adding the material Fertilizer 2.
Now that your material is on the list, any tickets containing that material can now be processed on the system. If an automated material, make sure you set the variable. The variable is a number that triggers the PLC to activate certain valves and pumps. Each material needs a unique variable. These variables are set up when the system is first installed by our engineers. Contact us if you need assistance finding the correct variable.
In this case, I assign the variable 24 to the material Fertilizer 2. Once the variable is assigned, the next step is to assign the pulses per unit. The pulses are determined by your meter or pump. One pulse per pound means that the meter sends one signal per pound of material processed. If set to 10 pulses per pound, you’ll receive a signal for every 1/10 pound that is processed. Once the pulses per unit is set, make sure you click the save button at the bottom right. You cannot process any tickets until pending changes are saved.
