ControlPro v3.4
To create a driver, click on the green plus sign in the “Parties” section of the home screen.
In the popup window, type in the name of the driver. In the “Type” drop-down menu, select driver. If using the unattended system, type in the unattended ID. The unattended ID is a second ID number. This allows the driver to type in a short ID number instead of the party ID number of 999000009. The next field is the company name. If using a signature pad, you can capture and save the driver’s signature for later use.
The next tab is “Addresses”. Type in the physical address of the driver’s company, and a mailing address if different from the physical address.
Under the contacts tab, this is where you enter the driver’s contact information. In this example we add an email address. Type in the driver’s name, choose “email” as the type, and type in the email address. Check the distribute box to allow this email to receive BOLs or other documents. Once all the information is entered, click save. Now that the driver is setup, they can be assigned to tickets and loads.
