To create a customer, start by clicking the green plus sign in the “Parties” section of the home screen.
In the new window, type in your customer’s name, and company. Keep the drop-down selection type at customer. If using signature capture, you can capture a customer’s signature and store it for later use. The unattended ID is a unique identifier (letters and numbers) for each customer that makes it easier to type in their information on the unattended screen. Instead of using their party ID, in this case 999000008, they can use the unattended ID of 548.
On the addresses tab, type in the customer’s physical address and mailing address (if different from physical address).
Under the contacts tab, type in the customer’s contact information such as email address, phone, or fax number. Use the distribute checkbox to enable this contact to receive emails or texts. Once all your information is complete, click save. Now you can assign your customer to new tickets and process loads for them.
