Post Season Cleanup is routine to clear out tickets and other components from the previous season. This allows you to start over with a clean system as well as cleaning up disk space. Unused profiles, parties, materials, equipment, and import/export files will be removed as well. Materials are only removed if they aren’t assigned to a system and haven’t been used.
To get started, open the settings window from the main screen.
Navigate to the local section, then click the data tab. At the bottom left of the screen is the button for post season cleanup. Click to initiate the cleanup.
Next, you’ll receive a popup asking to confirm. Keep in mind that the software creates a backup before doing the cleanup, so you can reverse it if needed. Click yes to continue.
A progress window appears and shows you what it’s cleaning up. It will start with tickets then move through each component until they are all cleaned up. This could take some time depending on how many tickets you have. Cleanup could take over an hour if you have thousands of tickets. Plan the cleanup on a day you won’t be running any loads.
When it’s finished, the progress window disappears. To confirm it worked, check the ticket search window. All tickets should be gone now.
